I’m Rahsaan Lacey.  I’m a Charlotte-raised and Wilmington- based composer, producer, and performer.  Since the age of 15, I’ve been honing my skills as an artist, specifically in production music after seeing “The Dark Knight”. Hearing how perfectly Hans Zimmer’s score wove into the narrative made me realize that I wanted to be a storyteller through music as well.

Since graduating from Berklee College of Music in 2014, I've been a long-time performer and producer, having toured all over the world with bands big and small, but my main love is composition. I've been working on music for films and games since 2023, having multiple shorts on the national festival circuit.

I aim to tell the story of a piece through sonic texture, melody, rhythm, and harmony. I bring passion, drive, and collaboration to every project. 100% human made.
